W2K networking icon hidden

by phill.adk . Updated 17 years, 3 months ago

Hi Shasca. Yes I did mean Network Neighborhood icon. I thought it would be a good idea to turn it off not realising that it would also take it out of Explorer altogether, this is not good as it makes locating devices on the network difficult. Luckily my NAS drive was mapped to the desktop. I tried gpresult, didn’t show up anything that made sense. RSOP not working.
I have a feeling that this has to be turned back on from the registry but I can’t find it.
Any other ideas?
