W2K Pro. Page File Error

by m.graft . Updated 25 years, 2 months ago

< Your system has no paging file, or the paging file is too small. >It happen exactly when rebooting the system the 2nd or 3rd time after the installation of W2K Pro. If I go to the drive root I could see the paging file is 120MB (80MB virtual memory on the system) of size but when checking that in the system \ advanced tap it indicates to 20MB. I resize it by adding more space and reboot again but the error message appears once again when logging in. I have installed the OS on an NTFS 4GB Partition. When I replaced the paging file on a different volume than the C:\ Root, the error message want appear any more and the problem is solved.

Do you have any clue why this is happening?
