    W2K Reboots Daily

    My Windows 2000 Server reboots everyday during work hours and on weekends. Please help me stablize the server.
    Too much downtime.

      3 things:

      1) is is setup to do auto-updates and reboot automatically…

      2) Look at your event log. It will tell you why it rebooted – program – error or what-not.

      3) check you devices in device manager and ensure there are no stopped devices, errored devices or exclamation devices
