W2k Server Printer/DNS problems

By Allan MacDonald ·
I have a Windows 2000 server running Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, MS SQL Server2000. This morning there was an accident that knocked out the power. From what I can tell the UPS shut down the server properly. When the server restarted, the users started complaining that they couldn't print from any of the network printers.

I receive the following error in my Application log every 5 minutes since the server was restarted:
Source: Userenv
EventI 1000
Windows cannot obtain the domain controller name for your computer network. Return value (59).

I can access the Internet and ping internal & external computers using domain names & IP addresses. However, if i try to do an nslookup, I get an error "Can't find server name for address x.x.x.x: No response from server Default servers are not available"

All other services seem to be working fine: File Shares, SQL database, DHCP, AD, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
