I have gotten myself all confused. I’m having some trouble grasping the share permisisons & security.
For Example:
2 groups:
Acct Admins
Acct Users
2 Shares
Acct – Private
Acct – Public
1. I want the group Acct Admins ONLY to be able to access Acct – Private. I do not want any user not in Acct Admins group to be able to READ or view anything within Acct – Private folder.
2. I want the group Acct Users to be able to Read/Execute the folder Acct – Public but not Write to this folder. Also, any user not in Acct Users should not be able to READ or list the contents of Acct – Public.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
