Does anyone have any experience with W2K server’s VPN?
I have a customer with 5 branch offices. About 5-10 computers at each location. Dedicated WAN links cannot be considered (too expensive). I want to establish some kind of a VPN. I have experience with WatchGuard’s and Sonicwall’s VPN but only for remote users.
1. Will the built in W2K server’s VPN work in this scenario with multihomed servers and DSL connections? Where can I learn how to configure it (any good articles with case studies?)
2. Do my servers have to be members of the same DOMAIN if I want to establish a dial on demand routing? IF YES, how does Active Directorie’s replication work in this scenario?
3. Did you have any luck with Sonciwall’s or WatchGuard’s branch office VPN solutions?
