I have Windows 2000 Advanced Server & SQL7 (Standard edition) on my server. Whenever I click on my database (or any table) to open it, I get the following error:

‘Cannot find file: //c:/mssql7/html/data.htm? SQLNSCookie=019B23080000000600000001. Make sure the path of Internet address is correct.’

When I click on OK, it opens up the dB, but is a nuisance, getting the error message, at every stage!

Any suggestions, why this error is popping up?

Together with that , anothernew error has started popping up!…only in one table, when I run an insert statement (or enter data anyhow….through Open table…or front end VB6)…I get the following error:

‘SQL Web assistant: web task not found.Verify the name of the task for possible errors.’

After I click on OK, it however updates the record….but I have not defined any tasks or jobs!

Someone suggested that SP1 fixes this…but I did install that…& the prob is still there!

    Any suggestions wld be appreciated!

    Thanks so

Make sure That you asign all loactoin properties for the Database properly.
Make sure that you are using the correect DataBase ODBC Drivers.
Make sure that you Asign the Correct Server Name and Select “A Specific DataBase on the Server” Some timesthis can cause a Problem Like in Vis InterDev.

I also heard that Some times Using Windows Integrated Security options that this can also cause Problems.

Also SP2 is available now and is suppose to fix a varity of bugs

      I hope this helps.
      Thanks,

This all sounds like enterprise manager is messed up. Since Enterprise Manager uses MMC to do all the admin, and since MMC is web based, I would try uninstalling the Whole mess of Enterprise Manager from the system in question and reinstalling it.
