Well, this is my first time asking question in TechRepublic.
I just assembled a new PC with AOpen AK72 Slot A board with Athlon 950 CPU.
System has HP 9510i, 48x CD-Rom, and Maxtor ATA100 40GB HDD. All went in to an Antec case with smart power supply.
After istalling HP CD labeler II, the system does not restart or shut down unless I pull the plug, or press reset button then press power button which is an instant power off.
I did the entire installation twice and have the same problem. Even after uninstalling the HP CD labeler II, the problem exist.
Any idea on what causes the problem?
