W98 not releasing DHCP address.

I have multi site WAN that users travel to and from… I have the users that travel from one site to another setup with DHCP. We are having a problem with the users who leave a site at say 1:00 PM and arrive at another site the same day at say 2:40PM and try to get on using DHCP, they cannot use the internet / e-mail because the IP is binded to the other site I have to go into winipcfg / release / renew and everything is ok.

Anyone know who this works?

Force the machine to release its current address when shutting down — then it might be more likely to take a new one. I think there’s a
registry setting for this, but I’ve never seen a post detailing it.

Any help would be great.
