I have a buddy that has a messed up Windows Address Book. She can’t open Outlook Express. The WAB is listed in:
START > PROGRAMS> ACCESSORIES > ADDRESS BOOK.
this gives a wab32.dll error. I have tried to uninstall the WAB(“c:\Program Files\Outlook Express\setup50.exe” /APP:WAB /UNINSTALL). While this did remove the address book from the system. OE5 was stil not able to open. I then went and uninstalled IE5 and had it restore IE4 and OE4 and OE4 did not want to work yet either. I then went and grabbed IE5.5 and did a custom and reinstalled everything. This failed as well. IE5 runs and is fine the WAB was reinstalled but is still messed up and OE5 will not open.
Help?!
