wall-mounted access point to a router or modem
Is it possible for a wireless connection to be established between a modem or router and a wall-mounted access point? An access point we have that does not support ethernet is inaccessible. Is it possible to get another modem/router that supports wireless connections, or bridge connections to our access point? Because the access point is owned by an isp, we cannot obtain information about its internal settings. Our apartment is in rural area and we have limited internet options. The access point was installed at the time our units were constructed. However, to use a VPN, we need the router.
