wallpaper display on monitor

i want to express my thanks for this web site and the support persons who use it–i had, i thought, quite a problem on my hands trying to get the wallpaper display back on my monitor–i looked up everything i thought would help in the windows & msn support websites, but my problem was not covered–a reply from here put me on the right track and i am grateful–
