I am currently pursuing my associates degree in computer networking. I am taking my network + exam this upcoming week. I am also taking the A+ class this summer and plan to get that cert as well. By the time I graduate I plan to go for my CCNA aswell… I know that Cisco also has some security certifications and having done research as to what is hot in the industry… Security is definately a biggie.. My question is to those who are currently cisco security specialists.. what recommended path should I take to get my foot in the door of a cisco security job? What type of advancement and pay can I make in this field? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. 🙂
