Want to Edit Within “Program Files x86” directory

by kevin robinson . Updated 17 years, 3 months ago

Hi, I’m using Vista 64 bit. Recently, I’ve been unable to edit files within a program that I had previously been able to edit within. Its an audio program, I had created new wav/mp3 files as well as editing those files. Last weekend, I went to record something new, and it told me something like “restricted access” or “U don’t have permission to…” or some such nonsense.

It appears I’m locked out of the entire directory as far as writing/editing/creating.

I’m the only user of the PC (HP pavilion), and I’m the admin, but I just can’t figure this out.

Thanks in advance.
