Ways to create a “Safe Room” to download files with potential malware?
I’m curious to know if there is a way that I could establish a safety net while exploring and downloading files that might contain malware, without using a separate computer or antivirus software?
I just looked into partitioning as a possible solution, and people claim that would not work since the root files are still interlaced.
Would separating storage from an SSD and an external hard drive create any sort of boundary? As in if the external hard drive was contaminated, would it still freely spread malware?
Is there any way I could achieve a “safe room” of sorts on one computer?
