web content guidelines

I would like to know of anyones experiences in implementing specific guidelines for web content development. Our corporation allows many people to create their own web site, and we would like to add guidelines for this to protect the public image.If anyone has experience in doing this, could they please reply?

It's not clear what do you mean under the public image. If you want to keep up a publuc style of the whole web site with some specific of the private Web sites, then we could help you

Not entirely clear what you really want from the question, but I suggest that you produce a written/online policy that clearly states allowable content and uses. Reserve the right to remove any offensive material, that sort of thing.
