I am interested in anyone who has used a Web Content Management Tool. What they use it for and thier views on how good it is?
We are looking at building something ourselves at present, I just wondered if there is any software which meets our needs?
Our ‘Intranet’ Web Content Mgt needs our as follows:
Invokes Front Page,
asks some organisational qustions,
brings up the templates for that division,
enables them to create the new page(s) using front page
when ready to save the files, asks the following questions – author’s name and page expiry date
saves the new pages into the correct folder within the correct division folder in the Publish directory on the Intranet development server. If the post code folder does not exist, the program should create it
automatically emails a designated owner, ready for checking.
