Web Develop, Active Directory and IIS 5

By ddainesi ·
I have five PC, two server and two domain. One is NT Domain (ex. DomainA) and the other is 2000 Domain (ex. DomainB). When I have developed using only NT and Win95/98 in DomainA with VisualInterdev or FrontPage was all Ok, but now that I have created a new web site on DomainB I don't see the site in the LAN but only by WAN. Further, all ASP pages that contains ADO code don't run. The web server with Windows 2000 Server has two NIC, one for the LAN and one attached to the router and the Internet. The web server keep five site (everyone with its own IP adress) but only one works on internet (why?). It's impossible for me find out any ftp site on the server 2000 and it's impossible for VisualInterdev to find the server name. What's wrong ? Sometimes by Internet, when I type the default page appear me a Windows Login mask but I have allowed Anonymous access.

Please help me.

Thanks

Sounds like you're not associating IP addresses with your websites properly. When you have a W2K box with multiple IP addresses assigned to it, you must specify an IP address for each web site you create to use.

Right-click on the site in the Internet Services Manager, click Properties. In the "IP Address" section, make sure each web site has a unique IP address. If all your websites are set to the default "All unassigned" then only one site will show up.
