Web Folders

By Frank K ·
I recently reloaded Win98Se on a crashed machine and I no longer haver access to Web Folders under My Computer. I'm drawing a blank as to how I got it there before. The PC is Win98SE running Office2000 and Frontpage2000. The latest Service Packs have been loaded and everything seems to be in order. Did I skip over an option on the original install??

I'm looking for the actual "web folders" icon, not web styles. Thanks anyway

I believe Web folders are associated with a specific Built In HTML utility that is loaded with Windows98 Second Edition....perhaps HTML Wizard 2.0 or similar, that most people end up deleting anyways. Did you perform the exact same type of Win98Se re-installation? Custom? Typical? Which choice did you choose during the initial windows setup?

Either way, If you are unable to find "Web Folders", I would go into Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel and click on "Add/Remove Windows Components" and look under Internet and Network related tools under the the "Details" dettings of each looking for "Web Folders".

Where do you normally find Web Folders located anyways? Been a while since I have seen a Win98se machine.

Paul
