web-hosting server questions

by oather . Updated 25 years, 6 months ago

We are getting ready to have a T1 installed at our office. We will want to be able to host a few small web sites for our clients, along with email services for them, also our own email needs. We have approx 15 client machines that will need access to the web. I currently have a dual p3-700/1048mb server running Inet connection sharing/win2k advanced; a dual p2-450/500mb server running NT4 (will be upgraded to 2k) domain server/file server; and a dual pentpro250/128mb ram print server. We will be getting a Cisco 2620 router from Sprint for our connection, and we have an HPpro4000 switch running the current configuration. Would like to be able to run our own name server for our clients’ sites too. Was looking at a snap 240gb hdd raid server to replace the 2 raid5 54gb drives running now along with adding DLT backup system. Also thinking of adding a web server just for the web sites (possible proliant 6500, with 2 18gb’s). Thought that I would use a sonicWALL pro, to provide firewall andproxy access to the client machines, and it gives a DMZ side for the on-line servers. Figured we would need to put the mail server and web server live. Didn’t know if we need any other servers to run the name server or not. Any advice on what else we might need or any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
