Web site

Upon looking at a web site I would get this message.

Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.
Cookie: c9a44641cd8018bddff3c1ba61e683a7=choose%

Obviously I could not put in the whole message as this would not fit.
This only occurs intermittently and the majority of the time looking at this page is no problem at all.

I have been through the Microsoft stuff and they are telling me to adjust the size of my web server or some other rubbish. My OS is windows 98 and I am running ie 6.

Has anybody come across this error before. If so what and how did you resolve this problem.

This comes from a bad cookie, usually one that is stored on your PC. Delete cookies related to that site and then try again.

Sometimes cookies can be malformed by bad code. It could be that their cookie writer is generating crap, or it could just be one cookie that is bad.
