I am currently in a Web Site class and I am creating a webstite using dream weaver and html code. My website is still in progress but so far some of the things I want to have on my website such as forum software and an account system requires me to have my server up and running from a server.
I have no clue how i would start hosting a website server, although i want to dedicate a computer to it.Its running Ubuntu and has a wireless connection to the web(internet speed is 6mbps).
Can anyone give me some help on setting up my server and the domain?
