Webcam driver for Windows 7

By nhiep_nguyen ·
I have a Fujitsu Siemens Laptop Amilo Xa2528.
It actually run Vista Home Premium and the built-in Bison Webcam is working fine with driver version of August 24 2007.
I recently install in dual boot Windows 7 release candidate in another partition. Windows 7 fails to find driver for the Webcam (also for the built-in WiFi too).
I connect to internet with an Ethernet cable but still cannot find drivers fo those items.
Anyone can help me with this topic please?
Thanks for any input.

I haven't used windows 7 yet but if you save the driver somewhere right-click and properties. is there a compatibility tab like in Vista? you should be able to switch to to xp or vista and have it work.

Acuttual, the duel factor is doing trouble here. As everyone know the cons of Vista, So i suggest you to remove vista and reinstall Win7 . I am sure your problem will be solved. I am using Win7 on my laptop as well but it is working fine. If you are looking for latest gadgets to have then before buying please visit http://www.techsoft.org blog. The obvious thing is to try the Windows Upgrade Adviser

by OH Smeg Moderator In reply to Webcam driver for Windows ...

Before you start. There are several devices that work under Vista that simply do not work under W 7 and Web Cams are a common one.

You always need to test your existing Hardware with the Provided Upgrade Adviser before jumping in and installing.
