Website – asp problem

by locuslink . Updated 25 years, 4 months ago

One of my sites is run with IIS 4, NT 4 with NT service pack 6a. Indexing on htr and htw files have been disabled. The server is a new DEll 2450 with 1G of ram.

The site consists of a combination of asp and html pages

At random times the site refuses to display asp pages although it still displays the html portions of pages and other normal html pages. There are no error messages nor any service failures. When this happens one cannot stop/start any sites from within IIS, nor can one stop/start the IIS Admin and related services from the Control Panel. The only way to get the site functioning again is to reboot the server. Neither the processesor nor the memory seem to be taking any load at these times either.

Any suggestions will be very welcome. Thank you and regards.
