Off the new ‘Alpocalypse” album. Trust me, you’ll see yourself when you get the 0:40 mark.

But I felt the need to get out a lighter and wave it back and forth….
By the way, I’ve stole it and posted it on Facebook so that some of our friends who don’t visit here often can see it. And thanked you, by your first name 🙂

But it’s no “White and Nerdy”. That’s still my favorite. It’s like watching “Big Bang Theory” but with Donny Osmond as the dancer.

I like it better than ‘All About the Pentiums’,

but ‘Nature Trail to Hell’ remains my overall favorite.
Jay should do a ‘Top 5 Weird Al Songs’ post when he finishes Trek. Better yet, maybe I should tackle that one myself.

His music was the first music I really got behind as a youngster. Before Al, I only liked instrumentals (mostly video game related).

And Stan Freberg, Tom Lehrer, Alan Sherman, and many others.
Al is carrying on that tradition in a fine manner.

by Dr. Demento. The Doctor acted as a mentor to Al and gave him extensive air play early in his career.

I got to listen to the full two-hour Dr. Demento show on KMET instead of just the one-hour syndicated version you heard everywhere else.

Good music. I’ll give the others mentioned a listen. First song I heard by Al was amish paradise. Then, I went backward in ‘Al History’ and really liked his earlier work too. I’ve been following his music since the mid 90s (whenever amish paradise came out).
