Weird problems since Windows 7 reset?

    Hey TechRepublic,

Apologies if this isn’t the right place to post this but I’m not the most tech savvy. I run a dropshipping business through weebly.com which host both my domain and site. I have recent sent my PC in to be factory reset due to malware.

Since the PC has returned whenever I visit weebly.com it displays as a flat white background with text and links and the login page does not open anything, just a flat white page. Whenever I attempt to use weebly on other sites it works fine, I am so confused and need help. I have an HP PC and run Windows 7. Any information you need let me know, any help would be praised. Thanks in advance.

Just a few weeks ago we did a clean Windows 7 install and found that not only was it now what I call an EXPERT INSTALL but Microsoft’s Update servers appear to not function.

We were able to get some issues resolved by MANUALLY downloading and installing the Windows 7 SP1 (service pack) then a few drivers but these are SPECIFIC to your PC. Yes you wrote HP PC but there are hundreds of models so I can’t tell you which drivers.

You sent out the PC to be reset but the company most likely failed because it is not longer trivial. Yes, I know the fix which for us at the office to move the computer up to Windows 10. That can upset folk but hey, our office is all moved over for many years and don’t have issues now.

Let’s say it’s not your PC.

As a webmaster you know to test with other browsers and other PCs. This is not optional.

If it is a weebly problem, report it in their support forums.

        Without make, model, etc.

Can’t tell you since some require media from the laptop maker.

This is one of the many reasons our office, shop and home moved to 10. The install media can be made freely. This wasn’t the case with Windows 7.
