I keep finding the WFV1, WFV2, WFVxx folders inside of my C:\WINNT directory on some of my Windows NT 4.0 Servers. Does anybody know what these are? I cannot find any information in TechNet, Microsoft’s website, or searching the web. They seem tobe some kind of temp files for something, but I can’t figure out what or why they are there. Sometimes they have .CAB files. Sometimes they have what looks like temporary setup files for other things. The only thing I know is that they cause my C:\ partition to fill up.
