My wife is a full time SW designer and part time realtor. I’m helping her choose a PDA and am about 60 min up the learning curve. She needs stuff like:
-GPS (to find houses)
-digital camera (to photograph them)
-roomy-for-a-PDA display (to display MLS info or many calendar entries at once)
-robust calendar mgt & gen’l PDA SW suite
-an O/S for which there is good realtor workflow SW (preferably TopProducer)
-probably a phone (btw Sprint is the only cell provider we know works in our immediate area; and, she wants hands free calling)
-good PC synch capability (her desktop is XP)
-ease of use (though technical, she’s not into gadgets which take over one’s life – they are a means to an end)
Any PDA models you’d recommend, and why (esp. if you’re a realtor)? Pointers to recent independent benchmarks would also be great.
