I am currently reading many blogs on software testing because i am a beginner in this field. Recently, i learned about some tracking and defect management practices that is used for software testing and wanted to know more. So, here I am hoping to get some interesting answers on this.

Is to follow company practices. You will discover this almost immediately after you start your new job.

If, after a few years you don’t find what they use sufficient you would present ideas for improvement.

For me it was never an issue of tracking the bugs, it was finding the funding to go fix them.
