What are the best FF plugins to block TR audio ads?

Using FF3.

I understand that advertising pays for the site. I also understand that I can not/will not tolerate popups and audio playing that I have not chosen to have play.

What is the best way to kill these before they start?

I don’t have any specific add-on for blocking popups, but I’m not being bothered by ANY audio ads at all. Never have.

Maybe it’s only in America!! 😀

And I have that selected, but no deals.

I don’t mind all the animated crap they throw around, but when my computer started talking this morning leaving me diving for my speakers, I was pissed off.

I’ve just tried using Adblock Plus.

I’m not complaining about that! My pages are jumping open now! 🙂

Using AdBlock Plus for a while now. I LOVE IT. I have it customized to just about block any ad. Adding some filter subscription helps. And it cut’s down on my Websense count since shopping is blocked here. ;\

is if the TROLOV will work with it running default? Thought some people said they were having problems with that.

Would be a drag to have to fire up Opera just to view that….. ;\

Unblock specific files

You should be able to unblock the specific flash file/directory so that you can view it… I can’t at work. They block streaming video. :_|

It runs fine without altering anything, it also still downloads as normal too.

Only thing now is that a little TAB is sitting at the top of the TROLOV screen, named ‘BLOCK’ – so you’ve got the option to rid yourself of it rather than having to re-enable its display.

This Adblock add-on really is superb! 🙂

*Oh Yeah – I download TROLOV using the ‘Download Embedded 0.5’ add-on!
