i wonder what are the main differences in performance and features between gtx and rtx nvidea???
would something like nvidea gtx 1660 super enough in 2025??

The current NVIDIA lineup no longer seems to include the GTX. Here is a comparison of the their current graphics card lineup: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-gpus,4380.html

GTX looks to be gone.

Newer games don’t run on GTX equipped machines so you might find these for cheap.

Example: That new Doom game this year.

I read elsewhere that NVIDIA has dropped the GTX line of graphics cards and simply rebranded the newer models with the RTX designation. Nothing radical about it…….
