What consensus here?

I’m having a really difficult time, in finding the right study materials, and was wondering if anyone here had any advice.
I’m looking for the most complete and accurate book/series/ exam simulation available on the MCSE certification. I’ve read many reviews on the books available, and there seems to be no agreement on any good study materials.
Should I get the MS Press core books?
What about the Sybex books?
What is the consensus here? What books have proven to be the best for understanding MCSE concepts, and for passing the exams?
