what could cause a windows vista screen to rotate 90 degrees

the user was using his machine was using his machine and the screen just rotated 90degrees at least that was what i saw when i arrived at his workstation.are there any hot keys that can be used to rotate the screen?

I control my display's orientation through the video card's system tray icon.

Yes there are hot keys to fo this.. sample below..

You can make use of the hotkeys to change the rotation of your screen

Press CTRL+ALT Gr+Up/Down/Left/Right arrows

Go and test.

Didn't work. NVidia apparently doesn't have hot keys. So's you know.

Depends on the Video Card here

But generally speaking the Video Control Icon in the Task Bar is what you need to use to correct this.

The user tends to open the Video Controller and flips the screen from there most times.
