What do you charge for services?

by jdclyde . Updated 19 years, 1 month ago

Recently my boss retired. Instead of filling that position, they now have the department answer directly to his old boss, who is the company controller. (bean counter)

He is looking to turn our department into a cost center that will charge the other departments for our efforts, and so we need to come up with numbers that would be fair to charge.

Things I do that I would need a price for based on an hourly rate.

Network instillation
Network troubleshooting
pc repair
software install
pc setup (deliver and connect)
clean viruses/malware
training

Thanks!

Oh, this does not effect my pay at all, as I am salary. The MAIN goal is to make the managers stop being so frivolous with IT resources.
