What do you think about Sony's PSP pricing?

By RexWorld ·
Sony has officially announced the pricing and availability for the PSP here in North America:

What do you think--are you gonna buy at $250? I have a $20 down-payment to reserve mine at the EBGames down the street. Of course when I slapped down that reservation the rumours were estimating a $179 to $199 price.

Still, I think I'll get one even at the unexpectedly-high price point. Can't wait to see what kind of hacks people come up with, given the wireless networking capability on that thing. It's gonna wreak havoc on wireless networks including the one we have here at TechRepublic.

Because I'm definitely bringing my PSP in to work--it's a powerful portable computer, not a game system :-)

PSP - Pretty Silly Priorities...

I think I'll probably drop my $250 @ REI instead.

I need a rack of quickdraws:

And 60 meters of rope:
