Ya know…I’m the Network Administrator, not the General Manager. For some reason, mgmt requires me to wear a shirt and tie to work every day. I absolutely hate it! I can’t seem to make them understand that crawling under peoples’ desks, scaling a rack full of servers, negotiating your way around in the cold room, is freakin’ impossible while being all dressed!! Would anyone agree that a net admin, at the most, should only be required to wear business casual attire? (maybe dockers and a polo?) Of course jeans would be the ultimate, but no way will I convince them of that!
So what are some of you required to wear, and how the hell can I get the Suits to see my point? (make ’em do my job with me for an hour or so?)
