I’m a rookie from Bombay, India) and I’ve got onto the Judging Committee /am an advisor/ am an RNP for the non-profit Network Professional Association Awards for Professionalism (www.npa.org/awards) doing this unpaid because I want to be as good as I can be & I get to meet & exchange with great people this way. What changes are needed to raise our status? Why isn’t the industry a profession yet? How can I prove to an employer exactly how good I am before an interview? Do you want to do something to help raise the status of Net Profs because it will do you personally some good – if so then join an association, fight for excellence, define excellence, support this or any other awards program, butget up off your elbow and do something if you want things to improve.
