A bit more info if possible:

Where did this happen and in what application or OS? Was that the exact wording or was "add ins" written as add-ins? Was this in a log or as a pop-up error? Were there any event log errors generated?

Find that dll and get the properties on it. Go to the Version TAB and get as much info as you can such as company version or product.

Maybe that will help us figure it out as I can't find that dll mentioned.

Dawn,

The end of last month you closed several questions without rating the answers.

We volunteer our time to help other users and our only remuneration is knowing that we were of some assistance.

Without ratings, we and those that search Tech Republic don't know whether the information provided helped or not.

I can stand some rejection. Would rather know it didn't work than to not have any feedback.

Now that I've chastised you. To the question at hand.

Are you running any type of OCR software? The only ocv (first part of file name) usage that comes to mind is Optical Character Verification.
