what drives what?

i have 2 operating systems on 2 different drives. 1 is vista and the other drive is win 7. how do i find out which drive is which. please help.

If they are different makes, models or sizes, then you may be able to figure it out that way.

Run "diskmgmt.msc" and you may see a link between drive letter and physical drive.

Otherwise, you could try to carefully disconnect one of the drives from the motherboard and see which system is left when you start the computer. (Umm. If the computer doesn't boot, then that means you disconnected the drive with the master boot record and none was present on the other drive.

And look at the different Drive Proprieties.

The one listed as C in that running OS is the drive that, that OS is loaded to.
