My EMachine runs Microsoft Vista; suddenly I cannot access web through wireless, dialup, anything. Also, the system restore points have all disappeared! Verizon, my wireless service provider walked me through as far as possible and we discovered error code 1231; I seem to have no system recovery disk either. Can someone help me please? Thanks very much. I need to complete an online course by a deadline and I’m out of time. Help! Thanks again,
