When I boot my Win98 machine I get an error message that says Driver Memory Error. It seems to pop up when The software for my HP CD burner is being loaded. It error message goes away as quickly as it comes. It is too fast to even click on. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi sounds like you need to check for updated drivers for you burner. Or in my case I run adaptec and they have updates for thier software so it will be able to recognize and work with more cd-rws. That's two places to check but if your burned is working you might go with the old saying " if it ain't broke don't fix it"..rockyolson@charter.net
Hi I hope I'm wrong but I had this problem and it was caused by a virus that a friend sent me by accident via an attachment to an email, not all virus software found it.
