What amount of RAM does your current laptop/desktop have? And is that enough for what you do with it, or do you feel more would be better?

If I were building or buying a new laptop, at the minimum I would have 8 Gb up to 16 Gb. The cost difference nowadays is minimal and more than you think you need is better to make the system more future-proof.

Don’t forget that a “formal” laptop is another story altogether. That part is just my sarcastic side expressing itself.

I would say 8 gigabytes are a standard amount, but if you want it to be way better, go to sixteen.
