I hope someone else has had this problem and will be able to advise me.
I am the head project manager for a company in South Africa.
I have a project manager in another branch that just does not seem to get things done.
The project manager is expected to compile the scope documents for our customers, and upon assigning this task to him, he returned with 3 flow diagrams only. The attitude of this person is a strictly 9am to 5pm atttitude, and will not put in extra effort into his work, and this of course is cascading down to the designers/developers below him.
How can I advise him that we expect more, or encourage him to apply himself to his work.
Being in an internet development company is extremely competitive and the managers should surely apply themselves as much as possible.
Any links to articles would be much appreciated.
Many thanks for your help.
