I just had my yearly review and I was told to choose my new title…Harder then I thought.
I work for an engineering company support about 75 users in 2 different locations. We have 15 servers. I am the only one. Ok there is the kicker…I’m a 20 year old female. I replaced my boss last year in May at my 90 day review. He was Network administrator. I support everything from CAD, phone system, blackberries, availl, pc issues, server, network, security issues. Everything that is “technology related” They don’t know the difference between IT and Technology. Anyway, I was told that I’m not a “network administrator” because I have to “strive” for that position in the near future.
O yea..my current title is “Help desk”!!
