I have a file on my Outlook Web Access server called Windows\system32\OutlookPublicFolderService.log which was created 2 years ago and the file has grown to over 100 MB. I cant delete or rename it because it’s in use. Searches of Microsoft, Google, etc. return nothing.
What service keeps this file open? Yes, I could shutdown Exchange services until the file closed but that’s a little barbaric.
What information is in the file? I suspect a month or two would be plenty of history for whatever it is.
Thanks for your thoughts, experiences, OH NO you have the same thing. Even a utility that shows info about who/what has a file open would be helpful.
