what is the average temp of a p4 1.8 +

By ryder007 ·
I was wondering what the average safe temp of a p4 1.8, 2.2 is. I have a 1.8 sys and a 2.2 sys they both run at about 104degrees, but under load run at about 125degrees. Is this normal? or should I try additional cooling methods? Thanks.

If your room temp is very high, it will cause your cpu to read higher temps, as there is no ready source of 'cool' air to circulate. If your temps are fairly cool, ie you have an AC unit, check the HS/F orientation itself, as it may not be sitting flat against the CPU.
