Five ways for Windows:
1. System Restore to before the infection.
2. Let your antivirus quarantine or remove it.
3. Same, but with a bootable anti-virus disk.
4. Restore your latest uninfected image backup.
5. Reinstall Windows.

Any of these 5 that works is best. Those that won’t work aren’t.
