I have been using Windows ME for a few months now and despite a HD format & clean install I am always getting lock-ups,blue-screens etc.I have all my hardware drivers up to date and run scandisk/defrag regularly but am thinking I would be better offgoing back to Win 98 as I found it to be more stable.
My specs are =
AMD Athlon 1Ghz
128Mb PC-100 SD
Fujitsu 30Gb EIDE HD (Primary 1 Master)
Hitachi GD-2500 DVD drive (Primary Slave)
LG-CED 8083B CDRW (Secondary Slave)(I know this should be setup as master but it will be as soon as I have the time)
I would like to hear from other ME users with an opinion on the OS
