what is the most efficient way to pass the CCNA exam

I want to start out saying I am not looking for the fastest or easiest way to get the CCNA.
I am looking for the most efficient way. I want to learn and know cisco. I am currently looking into boot camps, taking some course at a local school and reading books. I have also considered buying a couple of cisco routers and switches, and building my own network.
I am aware that experience is the best way to get the knowledge I need, but as you all know you need the knowledge to get the experience. I have taken some steps to get my self around networks, I have volunteered to help my church with their network and other IT related issues.
Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you in advance
