What is the most viruses you’ve ever removed

A friend brought me his pc to fix because it wouldn’t boot without restarting. When I checked and found he had no antivirus software loaded. I booted with UBCD and scanned for viruses. Removed over 5200 viruses from the machine. It boots now, but still not quite right. Has anybody seen more viruses than this?
